14 Mile Road Resurfacing, Mound Road to Ryan Road:

The Macomb County Department of Roads will begin on project on Monday, July 18 to provide concrete repairs and an asphalt resurfacing of 14 Mile Road from Mound Road to Ryan Road.  To allow for construction, lane closures are necessary.  At the onset of the project, the outer lanes of eastbound and westbound 14 Mile Road will be closed to enable the work.  The inner two lanes and the center turn lanes will remain open.  For more information, the Macomb County Department of Roads can be contacted at 586-463-8671.

Van Dyke (7/14/16 Update):

Concrete work at the intersections of Metropolitan Parkway and 18 Mile Road is complete. All lanes on Metropolitan Parkway and 18 Mile Road are open to traffic and no further lane closures are anticipated.  All lanes on Van Dyke are open to traffic.  However, daily intermittent lane closures in non-peak times will still be necessary to complete median work and restoration work.

Dequindre Road Reconstruction (6/15/16 Update):

The Oakland County Road Commission will soon begin a project to reconstruct Dequindre Road from Burningbush to north of M59.  The tentative start date is June 20th, 2016.  Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the project, one lane in each direction, as well as center turn lanes.  A new 5-lane concrete pavement will be installed with this project in addition to improvements to the Dequindre Road/Dobry Road intersection.  In 2017, the project will continue from Burningbush south to 18 Mile Road.  More information on the project including project updates can be found at http://www.rcocweb.org/289/Dequindre-Road.  The Oakland County Road Commission can be contacted at 248-645-2000.
