Cone Zone/Construction Updates

Dodge Park Reconstruction (9/13/16 update):

The 17 Mile Road and Dodge Park Road intersection is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday (9/14/16).  During this time, Dodge Park Road will remain one-way, southbound only, between Utica Road and 17 Mile.  Vehicles will be able to travel east/west on 17 Mile, through the Dodge Park intersection.

Over the course of the next two weeks the contractor will wrap up Stage 3 construction (east half of Dodge Park Road between Utica and 17 Mile).  Concrete curb placement is expected to be complete today with the exception of areas that were previously gapped which will continue to be filled in.  Driveway and sidewalk construction is scheduled to finish next week.  The deck replacement on the pedestrian bridge on the west side of Dodge Park Road is nearing completion and the bridge will be reopened by tomorrow.  The Stage 4 traffic shift is anticipated to take place the week of the week of September 26th.  During Stage 4, southbound traffic will utilize the newly placed pavement on the east side of Dodge Park Road while the west side of Dodge Park Road is reconstructed between Utica Road and 17 Mile Road.
