Financial Assistance Programs

  1. Macomb Community College Innovation Fund

    The Macomb Community College Innovation Fund will provide grants, which do not have to be repaid, of up to $25,000 for start-up businesses that are taking the initial steps to get their very early stage idea ready for market introduction.

  2. Business Accelerator Fund

    The Business Accelerator Fund is a 21st Century Jobs Fund program managed by the MI-SBDC in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Michigan’s network of business accelerators.

  3. Michigan Angel Fund

    The Michigan Angel Fund (MAF) is a for-profit pooled professionally managed angel fund. MAF was established by Ann Arbor SPARK and funded by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to help finance early stage companies in the state of Michigan and to attract additional angel investors to the Michigan entrepreneurial ecosystem.

  4. Michigan Pre-Seed Fund

    The Michigan Pre-Seed Fund 2.0 (MPSF 2.0) is a $6.8 million fund aimed at supporting early stage high tech companies by making investments in opportunities originating from technology innovation in Michigan Universities and in pre-seed and seed stage investments.

  5. MEDC Capital Programs

    Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) works to increase the availability of capital for companies in Michigan at every stage of company development. MEDC can help connect your business with capital providers - federal grants, venture capitalists, banks, and others - as well as offer programs that can expand the reach of those capital providers.
